First Experience
Those of you who followed me on hometechmtl.com will know that I am a case junkie, always willing to try the newest thing in cases. Well, when I bought my new Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro I went looking for a case that would show off the cool colour of my new iPhone.

At CDN$ 22.99 it looked like a good buy so I ordered it. I wasn’t disappointed it is a really comfortable very thin, very clear case that shows off my iPhone colour and still offers some protection.
The Tough One
This story is not about that case. TORRAS offered me the opportunity to try out their new TORRAS Shockproof Case Compatible with iPhone 12 /Compatible with iPhone 12 Pro Case [Military Grade Drop Tested] Translucent Matte Hard PC Back with Soft Silicone Edge Slim Fit Protective Guardian, Blue available for CDN$ 30.99 on amazon. I accepted the offer and boy am I impressed with this case.
While this case is not transparent to show off my Pacific Blue iPhone it is a nice blue colour and simple to install just by snapping each corner. It is a tight but still easy to remove fit.
The back is an opaque very thin Mag Safe compatible material designed to defy fingerprints and dust and the colour complements the darker blue of the silicone edge.
It is really comfortable in the hand with a soft non slip feel so I’m less likely to drop my iPhone. Beside my earlier case it is clear how much additional drop protection this case provides. It features a high edge to better protect the front of the iPhone, the material is good and thick and it clearly offers better drop protection than the clear model. As well, there is a good lip around the camera lens to provide additional protection there.
On top of all this there is a cute added feature , interchangeable buttons. The case ships with black buttons but includes a little packet with fluorescent yellow and orange buttons. I chose the orange and it is a simple matter to pop out the black buttons and replace Tham with be orange ones..it gives the case a by of pop.
At $30 this in a nicely priced case for those of you who need a little extra drop protection. I recommend it, Find it on Amazon.
